For most San Antonio homes, every 60-90 days is the standard rule for a basic 1-inch filter — but that number shifts a lot depending on your household. More runtime means more air pulled through that filter, so it clogs faster than the same filter would in a climate where the AC only runs a few months a year. A filter that's rated for "90 days" in a mild climate might realistically need replacing at 45-60 days here.
